Ron, when looking for a file on a computer use the operating system and find. Once the regulars who are more conversant with plug ins are up and about they can chime in. I still suspect that, however there is the dreaded coincidence. Sometimes another change to the computer configuration factors in and complicates things.

As I said earlier, Band in a Box installs almost nothing into the operating system except some fonts. All the rest sits in the actual folder and has no impact on sound. If all .wav files and .mp3 files are not playing right then it pretty much has to be a plug in corruption of some kind, and it should be possible to manage those.
