Thanks for a timely post on print screen. I too have had no success in using window vista to get a print screen. I have tried using both "ctl" buttons, both "shift" buttons, "alt" button all in conjunction with the "prt sc" button to no avail. I have also tried just the "prt sc" button. While trying these commands I also tried pasting them to a word document and a paint document again to no avail. I have tried doing this off and on for over a year when the mood strikes me and have given up. I just know I have to be doing something easily and obviously wrong but am darned if I know. I am running window$ vi$ta on a hp lap top. I have no difficulty in obtaining and using a printscreen software, but my stubborn and inquisitive nature nags for a resolution to the original problem.
