Just to correct an error above, a chord with 3 dots is a Held chord.

[A chord with 1 dot is a rest. For info, see Help, Index, Rests.]

Now, it sounds like dimitris might be asking about getting a good sounding ending, with a cymbal that decays.

First, make sure you have version 2011, which greatly improved endings.

Second, make sure the measure for the end of the song (or the tag) is well beyond the last bar you want to sound.

Third, check your settings. Opt., Preferences, RealTracks has two checkboxes to turn on: Use 4 bar endings, and Allow shots, holds and pushes. There are a few more to check, but start with these.

Fourth, put a rest on a different chord than the one that is being held, well after the end of the decay you want. Any chord will do, as long as it is different from the one being held. And remember step #2.

Fifth, experiment as John said with part markers. Depending on the RealDrum selected, you may or may not get the percussion you want. Try freezing all the other instruments and regenerating the song (changing only the drums) until you do (assuming that style supports the sound).
