Here is my latest song (Christ Died For Us). Let me know what you think. I am always glad to hear the advice of the folks on the forum. This is done with all real tracks. It is drums, bass, dreamy electric, finger picking acoustic and strumming acoustic.

Robert, great track and vocal. I especially liked the way the "strumming acoustic" came through in the chorus - very nice! Thanks for sharing.

I have a tough time reviewing praise songs -- I feel guilty if I don't like something (ha, ha). Fortunately, you did a good job putting the instrumentation together and the melody worked pretty well. No real new ground on the lyrics, but you've achieved your goal.

Hello Robert
Thanks for sharing. I don't know if it's just me but it seems I can hardly hear any bass. Maybe someone else can help out with a second opinion in this regard. Nice composition.

Nice production Robert,

Good arrangement, and mix. I hear the bass just fine on my system. Drums are a little prominent for my taste, but I love the rhythm guitar in the chorus. Care to elaborate on the style used etc.

Hi Robert,

I like this song. What a pretty melody and I really enjoyed the way you sang it too. I think contemporary Christian music is among the hardest to write. Good job.

The bass is mellow but I hear it fine here. The drums are out front but I don't mind that for a soft rock/AC sound.

Great song, super message and outstanding vocals.

I hear the bass but IMHO I think a little less drums and a little more bass will make the mix sound better. However that is just me and other may disagree.

Outstanding song!

Hi, Robert:

Just listened to your latest... very nice work. Your voice is stronger and more confident than ever.

I agree with Josie, that the melody is particularly fine... reminded me of my doo wop days -- I-VI-II-V progression -- and I wanted to get the boys together and sing backup. Although I guess "gospel" would be a better description than doo wop.

Actually, it reminded me a lot of an old tune my J.D. Souther, "You're Only Lonely," which also has a heavy drum track, for a ballad, but it works.

Keep up the good works.

Keep up the good work.
I play with the worship group at church and sometimes I have idea's for new songs.
We do more mordern songs from groups like Hillsong, Lincoln Brewster etc.
I would be interested to hear what other people are doing with Band in a Box in a church setting or concert evening for the youth.

Regards Jon
