Hi Guys,
Thanks for the time you are putting in. I have yet to try the fixes proposed--was pretty tired after last night's gig.
I CAN tell you that before the crash and reinstall:
1. I had done the fade manually.
2. The program worked beautifully. The problem that occurs did not occur before.
3. The software was also running on a 64 bit system, Windows 7 (but it was a Dell).
SO: to recap. This file worked, and now it doesn't. Perhaps during reinstall something didn't "take." Or perhaps there is some minor difference between the Dell and the HP I replaced it with. Or perhaps the backup file where I'd stored my BIAB practice tunes is somehow mildly corrupted. I could of course reenter everything and will do that if need be, but my hope was to uncover whether I had changed something. The fact is, the file I sent worked perfectly before the crash event. I did not intentionally change anything.
