I am curious as to why use another DAW as opposed to RealBand which is included with BIAB 2011.
Thanks,
Tony

Tony, back to your original question: the only reason I use SONAR instead of RealBand is that I used SONAR or its predecessor, Cakewalk Pro Audio, for over ten years before PG Music developed RealBand a couple of years ago. DAW software is complicated and powerful, and I saw no need to learn yet another program. PowerTracks, the forerunner to RealBand, was much the same story. With the ability to Drag & Drop from BIAB into SONAR, I have all that I need with those two programs. Yes, I know I am giving up a few features by not using RealBand.

If I were starting fresh, things would be different. I would learn BIAB and RealBand.
