Thank you both for the great advice. As mentioned, I've been working almost exclusively with RTs these last couple of months and drew a blank on how to handle the midi in both BB and RB.
In the RealTracks picker, I created a new style with the desired RTs, and as Rachel mentioned, the piano track assigned the Rhodes of the underlying midi,
Some of the RTs, e.g. bass, still sound harsh (for lack of a better word) and the midi tracks are more mellow to my ears.
