Thank you, too, for your help. In response to your question, the midi track has an instrument selected and also a midi channel that it is not 0. When played back as a midi track it sounds fine. Please note also, that I usually do not convert individual midi tracks to individual audio tracks. Instead, I usually leave them in the midi format and render the midi and audio tracks together into a stereo wave file, using the FILE=>WAVE FILES=>MERGE AUDIO AND DXI TRACKS TO STEREO WAVE FILE command. However, in this case, when I did so, the 2 midi tracks were rendered at a very low volume (barely audible) relative to their original level in the mix. I thought that converting the midi to audio first would solve this balance problem. At this point. I discovered that the block chords were not being converted in full -- just one note from each chord. There must be a setting somewhere that relates to this, no?
