Thanks Scott - I was on holiday when that thread came up. Pianos sounds have taken over for me, and we're in beta testing again.

A current discussion on the Pianoteq forum revolves around the benefits of 48 vs 44.1 rendering of sound. Keep in mind this is for pianos - which oddly have very little if any frequencies above 15 or 16 kHz. Oh yes, and we're talking about adult males, not many of whom can hear anything above say 15 or 16 kHz.

Some of the discussion was getting a little bit (what I'd call goosey), and someone posted the link to U-toob.


John: That Korg is useless - it' missing most of it's keys . Our latest version of Pianoteq has an extended range - eleven at the bottom and four at the top. The top notes are pretty well just clicks, but the bottom ones are really interesting and can be useful.
