Every time I use BIAB 20011 the auto hide taskbar quits functioning properly. It stays unhidden until I restart.
Is this a known issue?

I just tried this, and cannot duplicate your problem. With the Taskbar on Auto Hide, it always reappears as it should, even after restarting BIAB.
There is an annoyance trying to put the mouse on the scrollbar in the Notation Edit Mode, although it can be done if you are careful not to take the mouse too low. If you do go too low, it will of course bring up the Taskbar and cover up the scrollbar. Other than that, no problem here.
So - tell us more about your system. Is this 32-bit or 64-bit? What display resolution? What size monitor (and is this a laptop)? Anything unusual about your screensaver, wallpaper, default Windows font size, stuff like that?

Hey Matt, thanks for asking.
I know I should put my system specs in my signature and I will soon. My system is a desktop with a 19" display using a resolution of 1280 x 1024:
Windows 7 64 bit
AMD Phenom II x 4, 3.2 GHz, 8 GB of DDR3 RAM
500 GB, 1 TB SATA II HDD, 1 TB USB HDD
Delta 1010 LT-WDM mode
Nothing unusual about my screensaver, wallpaper, or default Windows font size.
I have no issues in my DAW (Sonar) or other graphics applications.

I get a signature too long error each time I adjusted even though I tried many different variations of the info. Perhaps the forum software should accommodate more needed info in the signature?

OK, I have just found out that my initial post did not include all relevant information.
Just using BIAB does nor create my problem. It is when I use BIAB, Sonar, and a Visual Basic.5 application I wrote years ago that uses a database approach to profiling all of my original music.
The reason why Sonar is open is because it determines how many measures of intro, verse, chorus, bridge, and outro was used to create the song and at what BPM. The VB app is opened to show me what the chord progression is.
Perhaps this issue I am having is the accumulation of all three apps opened at the same time.
I would hope this is not the case as I really would like to go through all of my old songs and adjust as necessary to get a better final product without the taskbar interferring.

You don't need to put everything in a signature. I know some folks do, but you can also put info in your personal info bio where there is more room. Go to My Home and Settings (top of this page) to edit it, and when someone clicks on your user name, they will see the info. In your post, you can just say, see my system info in my profile.

Just saw your updated problem description. This makes a lot more sense. I can try BIAB and SONAR on my music PC. I have both 8.5.3 and X1; which SONAR version are you using?

I am using Sonar X1a when this happens. I haven't tried it using Sonar 8.5.3 yet.
