As mentioned, there are lots of possibilities. During beta testing, I discovered a few RealTracks where the volume was too low, and of course PG Music fixed that once notified. In the meantime, I just boosted the volume of the raw tracks in my audio editor; took just a few seconds per track.

When I get "odd" sounds in a final mix, I will sometimes go in to my sequencer and do an audio edit on one track to silence or lower the volume on something I didn't like. Doing this one by one is not any different that correcting the mistakes of a real performer's live playing.

If there were something - maybe just one thing - I really couldn't stand, it would be possible to audition each RealTrack for that instrument and do some surgery so it never showed up again. Remember as advised to make a backup first.
