I've been snowed-in since yesterday and finally had the time to tackle some of my RT problems. In my initial post, I mentioned my new found affinity for the Gypsy Jazz styles; the more chord changes the better. As such, I had to be very specific in defining them.

One of the songs with the offending Ab and Bb passing notes (with C displayed) is La Paloma.The piano part used is one of the solo accompaniment rhythms, and with the more specific chords like C maj7 the problem does seem to go away.

I appreciate you clearing up my back-up question. And as John mentioned, I can now make the necessary and non-destructive changes to some of the RTs.
