There must be a simpler version of that? I can't even figure out the key on that one and there are way too many chords involved. Somebody must know a simpler version? ,4,5 chords at max?
I am a singer who accompanies himself on guitar - I would love to leave the guitar playing to somebody else but there ain't nobody here but us chickens...

Sam,
You could use Eb or Cm for the key on that one, I hope. I don't know the song, but those Maj7ths are probably needed, depending on where the melody goes.

I would call it Cm and yes the song would not be the song wthout the Maj7ths.

If you transpose Windmills to Am (and put a capo on the 3rd fret if you want it in Cm), it turns into a bunch of easy chords. There are two unusual chords in Am (Dm6 and Ebdim), but they aren't bad. The Dm6 can be played by lifting the lowest finger from at Am ( see here). The Ebdim is also pretty easy to finger ( see here) - very much like a B7 chord.

I can give you the Motor car song if you are stuck. I think I have a biab version of it, but I did sing it at one time.
Windmills is an easy one. I don't know about dumming it down though. I do it in Em. Easily transposed. If you are smart like my wife you can do that on the fly. I have trouble making sure the darn thing is zipped up.

Thank you very much for pointing that out, David. I transposed it to Am and now it is manageable.

She, and all like her are my heros! If it's a slow tempo ballad I can get through the the first 8-10 bars but must admit I get lost very easily after that.
What I need is the BIAB Transpose Key Feature in my brain!

What Would I be seems to have pretty generic chord structure . . . here is a youtube recording What Would I Be which should help you work out the chords. Come on Sam are you really looking?

Danny, I have found that already but it doesn't help me. I can't yet work out the chords by myself - that takes practise. I do have the lyrics but I can barely even tell what key that is in
