The least expensive near field monitors ($150) I could find that appears to be ok is the M-Audio Studiophile AV 40 I use the earlier version Studiophile SP-5B and they are pretty good. If you have to stay around $100 then your best bet may be some better headphones. Maybe something like this I have no experience in headphones in this price range however I’m sure someone here has and may suggest a better set. Good luck.

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
