Die in Band in a Box vorhandenen E-Pianos sind qualitativ ziemlich schlecht oder sehr aufdringlich. Für eine gute Rhythm-Jazz-Combo suche ich ein gutes Plugin für verschiedene (E-) Pianos. Wer hat womit gute Erfahrungen gemacht?

was benutzt du denn momentan als Klangerzeuger? Falls du noch den Microsoft Wavetable eingestellt hast, dann installiere dir zumindest mal den beiliegenden Roland DXI oder VST. Ich finde, diese E-Pianos sind erträglich ...
Ein "gutes" PlugIn für E-Piano ist laut einem Bekannten von mir 'Elektrik Piano' von Native Instruments. Das ist allerdings für BiaB kaum brauchbar, da es weder GM-kompatibel ist, noch andere Sounds außer E-Pianos enthält. Er benutzt es mit Cubase ...

BiaB verfügt über keine E-Pianos -> der Sound wird regelmäßig über VSTis oder eben geeignete Soundkarten generiert; BiaB liefert lediglich die Midi Steuersignale. Es gibt zillions freier E-Pianos, Rhodes und was nicht alles - ausprobieren gehört hier dazu. Solche spezifischen Plugins sind für BiaB jedoch bedingt geeignet, da BiaB lediglich ein VSTi laden kann - RealBand ist da wesentlich flexibler. Über Midi Yoke lassen sich dennoch verschiedene Plugins auf verschiedenen Kanälen ansprechen. Ein akzeptables über PG Music erhältliches Midi-konformes Plugin ist Forte DXi - einfach ausprobieren.

Tja ich bin auch schon Verzweifelt am Probieren Nativinstruments bei BiaB zu Importieren, aber ich komme mit den Libarys nicht WIRKLICH Voran, wenn man nun aber unter Styleditor die Instrumente auch VSTi ansteuerungen einstellen könnte, auch der MIDI Treiber auf Nativinstruments einstellt, müßte es doch Funktionieren oder?

die einzige - und von PGMusic zudem gut in BiaB integrierte - Lösung wäre die Einbindung von Nativinstruments Bandstand zur Ausgabe der Midi-Klänge. Da brauchs'te dann auch nichts an den Styles zu basteln - und das E-Piano klingt auch besser als bei den Standard Microsoft Wavetables.
Oder - wie MartinB vorschlägt - eben ForteDXI bzw. den Roland VCS. Alles andere wird in BiaB nicht funktionieren. In RealBand kannst Du für jede Spur einen DXI oder VST-Synthi einbinden. Also z.B. auch ein NI E-Piano oder Rhodes.

Gruß Ralf Danke Ralf für die Schnelle Hilfe, nun muß ich von NI das Bandstand mir holen um dann BiaB 2008 super+ ohne RealBand zu haben, braucht man dann überhaupt RealBand Tracks von BiaB dann noch? Meine meinung wäre wenn ich nun zu 2009 BiaB mit RealBand Upgreade wäre ich doch dann auch etwas Weiter, denn Dank WAV too MIDI kann man die Noten dann von Solist RealTracks Sax Gitarre usw. zu bekommen, oder? Hallo Matze, Real Band ist ein Programm - eine Mischung aus BiaB und Sequencer. Real Tracks sind gesampelte Instrumente, die Du in BiaB und RealBand anstelle von Midi einsetzen kannst. Die RealTrack-Instrumente und die altbekannten Midi-Instrumente sind aber zwei völlig verschiedene Paar Schuhe. NI Bandstand wiederum ist ein Midi-Sythi mit gesampelten Klängen, der die öden Midi-Klänge des Windows MS GS Wavetable (Standard Midi-Klangerzeuger unter Windows) ersetzt und somit unter BiaB und RealBand bessere Midi-Sounds bringt. Gleiches könntest Du aber auch mit ForteDXI oder dem Roland VSC erreichen. Wobei NI Bandstand umfangreicher ist. Midi (ob nun mit Bandstand aufgepeppt oder nicht) und die RealTracks (ob in BiaB oder RealBand verwendet) sind ganz unterschiedlich einzusetzen und wie gesagt verschiedene Welten. Lies mal hier Forum (Tipp: Suchfunktion nutzen ) oder auf www.pgmusic.com was dazu. Würde hier jetzt zu weit führen. Ich würde Dir zum Update auf BiaB 2009 raten, da die RealTracks sowie RealBand echte Verbesserung bringen. Für den Preis von NI Bandstand kannst Du ja im Sommer beim Summer-Special ein Update auf die Version 2009.5 als Schnäppchen zulegen. Bis dahin reicht die Version 2008 allemal um sich einzuarbeiten.
