Also, one suggestion for the future:

One reason I was surprised, is that I thought I had these soloists (at least one) before, so was surprised to see neither, after the 2009 upgrade.

The upgrade installation should, IMO, see what one already has installed, and if that is not included in the new installation, leave the originals untouched, still in the same folder, when it installs the new files. If one already has something that is also in the new installation, then no harm if the new overwrites the old. (And if it has been updated in some way, important to do so.) But files that one already has installed, not included in the new installation package, should not be removed from the installation.

Just my two cents, a suggestion for next time you create new installers.

Edit--just occurred to me--of course, when one gets the new pak already installed on its own hard drive, it will not know what you have already installed on a different hard drive.

In my case, however, I have the hard drive Ultrapak 2009 coming in the mail, but haven't yet received it. I have however, downloaded the main 2009 UP installation, and some of the RealTracks, from the link given to me at purchase. So, I have installed these to my hard drive, to the same c:\bb installation where I have had BIAB installed for years. Those artist soloist paks (Laverne, at least) were part of that installation before I installed 2009, but were missing after installing 2009 over it. IMO, the installer should be careful not to uninstall any add-ins already present.
