I find it surprising that few of the piano styles seem to handle syncopation well. The "California", "PopVancouver", "PopLiverpool"... Sometimes they join well, but other times the transitions are painfully obvious, like a glitch in playback.
This is especially obvious when the styles are being used as intended - as solo accompaniment.
This is one place were RealBand's ability regenerate only portions of an instrumental would be really handy in BiaB.

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
