I tried using SFZ+ (sfz+.dll) as a VST Soundfont replacement for the DXi synth (now using CoyoteWT) in the following way:
In the Opt > MIDI Audio Driver Setup, click "VST/DXi Synth Settings" to open the "VST/DXi Synth Settings Dialog".
In the "VST/DXi/Plugins" window - drop down list, select "Add VSTi plugin" and choose SFZ+.
Then under "File" I chose my soundfont: MEGA25.sf2 - an older one I had but still sounds good.

There's NO midi sound whatsoever! I couldn't get the DXi version of SFZ+ to even load (sfz+DXi.dll). There's two SFZ+'s in the drop down list: "<VSTi> sfz+" and "rgc:audio sfz+" - I tried them both. Neither worked. If I go back to CoyoteWT everything works again.

The only thing that's different btwn the two that I can see, is that all the Channels are full with Programs in CoyoteWT but not in SFZ+ - where only Channel 1 has anything listed.

Am I doing something wrong? The wrong sf2 file? I don't even want to try another soundfont vst if I can't get this one to work. Please help me straighten this out.
