An important point for you, just to make sure you grasp the concept.

When you use the term 'render' you end up with the sounds from your DXi synth, not that nice synth you have hooked up sometimes. 'Render' means a process being with the DXi synth by definition. So if you use any process called 'render' you switch to the DXi synth.

I'd really suggest that a certain point (when 'Joe musician' takes over and you start to be concerned about recording good tracks) you switch to RB and record each sound from the Roland synth to it's own track. You would get so much more control and have better sounds that way.

Just a suggestion.

Thanks for helping out!

Of course I'm happy whenever people educate me on BIAB's functions.

All I know is that when I went into the Render to Wav screen a couple of days ago I had:
1. Disabled DXi synth
2. Hooked up my Edirol to my Roland Midi synth
3. Was able to successfully make a (Re) Render to wav file.

Now whether BIAB was actually fooling me, and really used DXi despite my above settings,
I'm no expert to affirm this.
But if you say that's what happened, I'll believe you.

As for the other folks who have been on a posting blitz here and in my other threads...
1. I am not Ivan. I don't know who the guy is.
2. I have very thick skin.
3. Not everyone takes their audio recordings as seriously as you may think they should.
4. I don't take my audio recordings too seriously.
5. I don't and never will use my Logitech camera mic for audio recordings. It just shows up here and there because it's currently the only device listed under Windows/Sound devices. When I plug in my Edirol UA-25EX
it also shows up under Windows/Sound devices.
6. The replacement motherboard that many are encouraging me to go ahead and use is IDENTICAL to the one I'm currently using (6 year old model), minus the lightning strike.

Once again, I thank those who offer their help to me here.
If you don't want to try to help me, it's your choice.
But it's really not necessary to make a post saying "I won't be helping you anymore until/unless..."
