Hi Bluedusk, Here's an alternative way of look at what Kelso has outlined. When you go into Lead Sheet Notation, all you should need to do is to make sure that the "S" (for "Soloist") is clicked and made active. I've shown this in the below screen capture. (By default, the "M" (for Melody) is the active track and the notation shown will be the melody.)  Hope this helps, Noel
