Hi, Band-in-a-Box 2011 Build 318 is availableThis is considered to be a beta update because it is new. The latest shipping build is 317. Summary of Changes for 2011 Build 318 (May 30, 2011)
- Sometimes after resizing the main window, parts of screen wouldn't redraw.
- Some new style definitions.
- Sometimes using metal guitar soloist, would play a "too long" riff.
- Save Soundtrack wasn't working if the song was playing.
- Non-English versions only: Medley names were messed up.
Summary of Changes for 2011 Build 317 (April 29, 2011)
- Improved: Holds work better for slash chords. On chords like Am/G, the held note for bass RealTracks will now be G instead of A
- Printing Leadsheet memo wasn't working
- Fakesheet display issues.
- Single MIDI track rendering didn't work in build 316
Summary of Changes for 2011 Build 316b (April 21, 2011)
- Fixed: Timing for MIDI songs generated on the iPhone is improved.
- Fixed: Some Bass RealTracks like #369 weren't playing chords like Fm7/C correctly.
Summary of Changes for 2011 Build 316, since build 315 (April 19, 2011)
- Added: On bootup, a FlashMessage will appear if you haven’t already removed un-needed RealTracks files (this can reclaim 65% hard drive space) .
- Fixed: MIDI timing on rendering to audio improved.
- Fixed: Rendered songs with no lead in sometimes had excessive silence appended to the end.
- Fixed: Loading a new style wasn't killing the currently set realdrums.
- Fixed: Frozen RealTrack with RealChart was dragging as MIDI sometimes.
- Added: More support for bt1 files (these are small files used when there is an audio track present).
- Added: Files in bb2go folder are colored green when selected when mp4 present.
- Added: In BB2Go dialog, warnings issued if QuickTime not installed.
- Added: In BB2Go dialog Quicktime version number found added, with a button to download it.
- Updated: More automatic RealStyle substitutions for MIDI styles added.
- Fixed: Minor updates to RealTracks memos and info
- Fixed: Soloist #1309 medley should be set to 'every 4 bars' instead of 'every chorus'.
- Updated: Help file.

I just tryed to load build 317 but it say's that I have biab older than 2009, I've been
abled to load all the other updates before this one. I purchase the Ultra pack in Dec
2010 or Jan 2011 when it was first offered. The little blue book that came with it says
BIAB Version 2011 for Windows New Features Guide. and the program that came in a box
says BIAB up312, before this I had BIAB 2007 and it is still loaded should I uninstalled
2007 and if I do will I lose all the songs that I make in it when that was my only
program. Thank Frank

Hi Frank,
Was BIAB open when you tried to update? If so, make sure it's shutdown and try again. Just a thought.

Noel BIAB was off when I tried to load it and I just tried again I had everything off this time (meaning
the internet) last time I had the internet on but I still got a message that I had an older BIAB than 2009.

Frank,
Something else that might be worth checking is that the path to your location of BIAB that comes up during the installation is correct. I've just installed the Realband update and the default path was c:\Realband. This was incorrect for me as my RB is d:\Realband. I had to change it.
Just another thought.

Noel Sorry I'm just getting back to you. I'm pretty sure my default is c:\bb but still get the same message
as before " older than 2009" Thanks for the help though.

Aaah, no, the window scrolling problem is still manifesting itself in my system after using the DAW mode. I think I'll have to find shorter songs
