Hi Dazz,
BIAB starts playing the song before track generation is completed. Track generation is then completed as a background process while the song is playing. RB, on the other hand, fully completes track generation before playing.
In BIAB, try deactivating the "Speed up generation of Realtracks" option under Opt. | Preferences | Realtracks for a better comparison between the two programs.
