I use Band in the Box in a live situation and I would like REALTRACKS to load(generate) when it is OPENED. Then when I hit the play button it will react the same as non REALTRACKS. ie play immediately

As pre-preparation, it's possible to enter a chord sequence, generate the song. Let it play through and then "Freeze" all the tracks. This way, when you open and play the song next time, it will happen quite quickly. If chords or settings are changed, though, it's necessary to unfreeze the tracks, regenerate the song and then re-freeze so that the changes will stick.

If the RT setting 'Speed up generation of RealTracks' is enabled and it still is not fast enough, consider Rendering your arrangement to a Wav file by the same name as the song. You'll have to disable the style and the song will play only the Wav file. The Play should be almost immediate.

You can set the song to play when loaded, and then have it pause until a key is pressed.
That should do it.
