I'm not sure why you are increasing/decreasing speed. Didn't you already pitch shift it in RB?
I thought you wanted to add parts in BiaB, so why are you trying to change the waveform there?

I work like Bob (Jazzmammal) does, once in RB, just stay there.
How I would do what you are wanting to do -

open wav in rb
right-click and pitch-shift up 1/2 step.
run it thru the acw to get the chords and tempo map
start generating new parts on empty tracks in RB

Select a style and generate midi or right-click and renerate realtracks.


I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome
