The RTs in BIAB are very heavily pop and country leaning, with a little jazz.
The latin ones tend to be like "Ballroom Latin", some bossa (although I would really like to have one with bossa acoustic nylon guitar a la Joao Gilberto), etc.
Years ago you did have some more diverse MIDI latin styles, created by Rebecca Mauleón. Why not do that again with RealTracks?
I would like to hear RTs for example, with traditional instruments like the Cuban tres guitar, the Puerto Rican cuatro, etc. playing traditional patterns, as well as all the traditional percussion and other instruments. Also, a full modern salsa band with horn section licks and everything.
Also a charanga ensemble, with the violins and flute.
The modern popular Cuban styles as well, such as timba, songo, etc.
Other latin-american folk styles would be of interest as well in RT, such as Andean, jarocho music from Mexico (all played by musicians of that culture, on authentic instruments), etc., etc., etc
Would that be possible?
Let's get some more variety in BIAB!

+1, It would be nice to get some cumbia ryhtms as well...
the new tex mex is as close to the mexican ranchera style...

Another voice for more latin styles, especially Real Tracks. How about separate conga/bongo/percussion tracks along with trap set? I'm using Real Tracks as audio backup tracks in Ableton Live for live performance and most of the midi (non Real Tracks) sound cheesy, so generally, I don't use them.

Cheesy? Band in a Box has no sounds. So it's your setup. A better synth will result in a better sounding set of midi instruments. That's a function of your investment.

I say Cheesy too ,but meaning stiff not the quality of sounds produced . I'm VSTi'd to the hilt but only like real tracks now because of this stiffness.
