If you're having trouble finding the UAC settings, then try instead to click on Start, Help and Support, and then type "User Account Control" in the search box. You should see a selection to turn UAC on and off. Click on that and you will then get a link to be able to do it. You'll have to reboot your computer after doing it for the setting to take effect.
