I.E. is not an option with a Linux operating system. Curiously, one never hears a Linux user lament this fact...

A friend who recently purchased a new laptop has just removed Windows 7 entirely, in favour of a music-specific Linux O/S. The "price" he is paying is learning the open-source applications that replace his original Windows-dependent software.
Hopefully, software developers will begin releasing Linux-friendly versions as a matter of course, so that we can deploy their products in a safer and more stable computing environment.
