You can generate just like you are describing in RB. I know BiaB is quick and easy, but so is RB once you get the hang of it.

Get the idea and chords down in BiaB, then use RB to experiment with styles and Realtracks etc.
You get 48 tracks to experiment with, and they are numbered like you desire.. it's a much easier program to do what you are describing. Delete the tracks you don't want and regenerate.
Or generate 6 guitar tracks using the same style (they'll all vary) and cut/paste what you want to one track.
You can even just highlite any region of a track (MIDI or Audio) and regenerate just that section if you want.
It really is the next logical step to BiaB and very powerful when the two are used together. Don't think of it as just 'moving to a DAW'. You can still generate realtracks at will. Try THAT with Sonar!
