he leido que es realtrack y que es reason pero no tengo gran experiencia con ninguno . quisiera tener alguna referencia de que programa usar segun el caso. si alguien pudiera contestarlo ¿Que diferencias hay entre realtracks y reason?

Hola Maiky03, aunque ambas son aplicaciones musicales, presentan diferencias fundamentales. RealTracks es un sistema de pistas instrumentales interpretadas por músicos reales, y creado para ser usado dentro y conjuntamente con nuestros programas Band-in-a-Box (BiaB) y RealBand (RB). Es decir, los RealTRacks (y RealDrums), aunque no son plugins, no pueden utilizarse independientemente fuera de dichas aplicaciones anfitrionas. Los RealTRacks son organizados en forma de estilos por BiaB y RB, para ser utilizados de una manera similar a los conjuntos o sets de estilos MIDI presentes en BiaB desde sus inicios. Con RealTRacks puedes crear pistas de acompañamiento, solistas y de fondo (fills) que se integrarán de manera inteligente y musical en forma de canciones en BiaB. Los RealTRacks igualmente pueden combinarse con pistas MIDI utilizando instrumentos virtuales y la compatibilidad VST y VSTi de BiaB.
Con BiaB y RealTracks solo se necesita introducir o escribir el nombre de los acordes correspondiente en cada compas, escoger un estilo, una tonalidad y un tempo, para crear una pieza musical completa, con un realismo sonoro, musical e intepretativo sorprendente y extraordinario. Y aunque puede usarse para crear una pista de melodía y una de solista propias, no es necesario usar un controlador o teclado MIDI para introducir o grabar la música, por lo que su uso es, en principio, realtivamente fácil, aún para el prinicipiante o novato.
Hay que recalcar que las pistas creadas con RealTracks en BiaB, pueden exportarse, editarse y modificarse en el programa RealBand, incluído sin costo y como parte de la suite completa. RB es un editor, grabador multipista de audio, cuya característica principal es la de poseer recursos propios de una estación de trabajo profesional, mientras que conserva una gran parte de las características de BiaB, como lo es por ejemplo, la pantalla de visualización e ingreso de acordes.
En cuanto a Reason, la misma es una aplicación musical independiente que integra un conjunto de herramientas y recursos musicales y de audio en un solo paquete. Reason tiene secuenciador, batería y maquina de ritmos, editor de patrones y loops, sintetizadores y samplers a modo de instrumentos virtuales. Su modo de trabajo es bastante similar a un secuenciador MIDI/Audio ordinarios tales como Cubase, Logic, Sonar y otros, solo que Reason es un sistema integrado que enfatiza en las herramientas sónicas mas que en las de edición profunda, a diferencia de un DAW (Digital Audio Work Station) como los anteriormente mencionados. En Reason se puede trabajar con loops, pero se necesita igualmente introducir los datos musicales desde un teclado o controlador MIDI, o en ultima instancia, paso por paso "step by step", si se quiere crear música y melodías propias en el. Razón por la cual Reason observa la capacidad de compartirse e integrarse sincronizadamente dentro de aplicaciones DAW mas especializadas en la edición detallada, mezcla y masterizado.
De la misma forma, Band-in-a-Box y las pistas creadas en el pueden exportarse a Reason como MIDI y audio y a cualesquiera de esos otros programas mencionados, además de RealBand, para añadir, complementar y realizar modificaciones y ediciones posteriores en las canciones.
La decisión entre uno y otro dependerá estrictamente de tus necesidades musicales. Pero realmente no deberían ser comparados en el momento de tomar una decisión, porque, como ya vimos, ambos poseen cualidades y capacidades, que aunque en algún momento se interpolan, son diferentes en la manera de aplicarse y utilizarse.
En mi caso particular, como compositor, arreglista y guitarrista, tiendo a utilizar siempre Band-in-a-Box y RealTRacks como punto partida para desarrollar gran parte de mis ideas musicales, las cuáles llevo luego a RealBand o cualquiera de mis secuenciadores favoritos. Incluso, utilizando la actual potencia y capacidad de los ordenadores actuales, suelo mantener abiertas e interactuando entre si, varias de dichas aplicaciones al mismo tiempo con mi Band-in-a-Box...maravillas de la informática musical actual !!! no hay nada mas reconfortante que tener una "fabrica" de solistas y acompañamientos magicamente listos para ser utilizados en nuestros trabajos, sean hechos en el ordenador o incluso de nuestra propia banda. Y esa fábrica es Band-in-a-Box con RealTRacks
