Very true John. Note my post is from May, 2011 and I've since been corrected.

One flaw in the HC is the standard kit bass drum velocity. It's stuck at 127 so no matter what you do with the overall drum kit mix, the bass drum will keep booming out way too loud. All you can do is lower the overall drum track volume but when you do that the whole kit is now too soft when all you want is to bring the bass drum down. Biab has an automatic thing that pops up a box asking if you want to change the bass drum patch to a different one. Say yes and all is good. Unfortunately Real Band doesn't have that so you have to go into the drum kit and change it manually then save it as a user kit. For some reason Roland never corrected this, who knows why. That may be one reason it's out of production.
