One way is to use a video and a separate MP3/WMA file together. Encode the WMA/MP3 to 256 kbs or higher, makes a bigger file but the sound quality will be much better.

Unless you have a camera that will connect to a mixer for its audio input? You would have a better way of controlling the input levels with it.

I use the Movie Maker software and I can simply drag the audio to the timeline and sync up that way. The higher the bit rate, the better the quality of the audio.
