Kirby, Realband is actually RealEasy! Open it up, and then go to file, and open one of your BiaB backing files. Allow it to completely open it.

Next go to the first track after the biab tracks in RealBand, and right click that trqack and select all. then right click it again and go to generate a real track, and add something silly like a fiddle or a strumming guitar. let it finish the generation, then play it. Instant track. Now what you can do is to highlight and drag the area of a track that you want an instrument in and add what you want there. That is how to add Real tracks and drums to RB.

Next take a unused track, and right click the area of the track where the volume slider is, in the tracks view, not mixer view. Tell the track to be audio mono. With that track highlighted click the red button on the transport bar (area where start, and stop are.) Sing into a mike of strum a guitar, or anything attached to the computers sound cards input. after a few seconds hit stop, and it should ask you to "keep take?" say yes and a wave file should appear, in the track. That is how to record. If none of this happens you are not configured right and need to go to options and setup the sound card.
