Zander Zon (look him up on YouTube then buy his self-made CD on CDBaby)
Lecrae
John Coltrane
They Might Be Giants

Some of that is mainstream - if it's good and it's mainstream, I'm not opposed. Some is clever, some is relaxing (Ben likes to listen to Coltrane and Zander Zon to chill out).

His friend Aaron has an iPod inherited from his dad with nothing but 60's pop, soul and R&B on it. Guess what he likes listening to? His fave: Petula Clark.

These are 5th grade boys. There is hope for the future of musical tastes.
