Midivox, a quick followup about DXi synths. You said you have some Cakewalk stuff. Do you not have the TTS-1 softsynth? Most of the recent Cakewalk products include it as part of the package. When I installed Project 5 several years ago the TTS-1 just installed with it automatically. I didn't have to do anything and then the next time I opened Biab, it showed up in the DXi list. The process was a complete no brainer.
A friend of mine has an old version of Music Creator, it's at least 7 or 8 years old and it has the TTS-1 included. PG sells Music Creator for $40 specifically to people with a 64 bit Windows system who want a decent DXi GM softsynth for little money. It's not that anyone cares about having another sequencer when they have Real Band it's that the Roland VSC DXi that PG provides for free won't run on 64 bit systems and Roland no longer supports it so there's no chance of getting a new driver for it.
