Hi Everyone
Can not get the Punch In and Out set. No matter what numbers I type into the Set Punch In Out box, RB says they are not valid. Same with checking use From To boxes on main screen.
No way to use Punch In Out flags or highlight bars for punch in and out.
When recording midi, I highlight track, then go to set patch, and in this case select Flute, then Flute shows up on the track header, but only piano sounds. Checked TSS synth settings and it shows Fluts also, but still all I can get to do midi recording with is a Piano sound.

Here's how I do it: Click on the spot in the track you want to be the punch-in point, press F7, that sets the "From" marker. Click on the spot in the track you want to be the punch-out point, press F8, that sets your "Thru" marker. Click on the "Punch" icon. In the resulting pop-up window click the "Enabled" box, then click on the drop-down box and make sure that " Use From/Thru from the main toolbar" is selected. Click ok to close the window. Now, if you click in the track somewhere before the punch-in point and click the "Record" icon, recording will punch in at your "From" point and punch out at your "Thru" point.
As for your flute track, try changing it's channel number to a channel number that is different from the one your piano track is set to, or if no piano track then make sure that it set to something other than "0".

You might also want to make sure that the channel is set to something other than channel zero. I've found that sometimes results in a a piano sound only.

Also, if you are recording MIDI, make sure the synth you are playing it from is set transmit on the selected MIDI channel!
I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome

Hello Everyone
Thanks guys for that step by step. Going to use it on a couple of new songs this week.
And 3 songs where I did a scratch vocal and decided to just punch in and out on a few places to finish the vocals.
Also have a couple other songs, I just wanted to punch in out on a couple of midi tracks.
