Har just köpt ny Frost Rasqal PC med Infrasonic Quartet ASIO-ljudkort.Jobbigt men härligt att få installera om allt snyggt och prydligt.Testade Cubase med en bufferstorlek på 48 och latency<2 ms. Funkar perfekt.Har dock ökat till 256 och installerat BIAB 2009.När jag i Options Audio väljer mitt kort kraschar allting. "BiaB application has encountered ...."Därefter fungerar kortet inte i Cubase heller förränd jag bootar om.Vad kan gå fel?Har mailat PG Support men inte fått svar. Inte heller på en fråga jag skickade i förrgår. Vad har hänt med dom? Förr var dom snabba med svar, men nu är det stendött.P-O

Varför BIAB krashar verkar spontant bero på en drivrutinskonflikt mellan ljudkortet och BIAB. Prova att experimentera med olika bufferstorlekar, men troligen är det en konflikt som är orsaken . Ett tips är att ta bort filen intrface.bbw, och starta om, om det ej hjälper , ta bort MySetup.DK och starta om.
Du kan skicka upp din fråga på det internationella forumet, det finns en kille där (Mac) som vet det mesta om dylika frågor och lite till. Ibland kan du få svar av tillverkarna själva. Vad gäller supporten så vet jag ej varför du ej får snabbt svar. Det brukar fungera bra, stöt på igen. Men som sagt, prova att skicka upp detta på det internationella forumet.

Tack Stefan för snabbt svar & förslag.
Först: jag hann inte mer en posta detta inlägg igårkväll förrän jag fick svar (även på gammal fråga) från Supporten, så hedern är återställd!
Deras förslag var att installera asio4all, men jag är tveksam eftersom jag har ett semiprofessionellt ljudkort och en PC speciellt sammansatt och tweakad för att bli en DAW.
Jag kolllar med supporten på Frost/Luthman innan jag gör några ingrepp.
Återkomer med feedback på forumet (om nu någon mer kan vara intresserad)

Frost avråder från ASIO4All utan rekommenderar att använda Direct X drivrutinen, men den kraschar omedelbart när jag väljer den tillsammans med Quartet.MAC rekommenderar att testa med ASIO4All, men det funkar inte helt bra.Jag fortsätter tråden på det internationella forumet istället.MvhP-O
