Hi Lyn. Actually, I don't care about the notation. The tempo changes are not taking effect as the song plays. In other words, it's like they are are not there except for the tempo set at the very beginning. The tempo map instructions are easy enough to follow, but maybe I'm not doing some steps before I make the changes? Does something have to be "selected" in the tracks before I do the change? There are 6 midi tracks in total. Except for selecting the whole track, I haven't really learned how to select just portions of a track. I do know how to select multiple tracks though. Am I missing some steps?
I guess this really isn't a big deal since I can do what I need in a different DAW, but I thought that RB would be the DAW to use in this instance. I made these midi tracks myself, actually in Sibelius, so I know that there are no control codes inserted that might cause me problems. In fact, I checked the Events list just to be sure. At this point, I'm at a loss as to why the RB tempo changes don't take. The initial tempo that I set works fine, though.
