Hi,
I just updated my BIAB 2011 from Build 314 to 317 the other day. It seems that I cannot override the MIDI drums for a style with a Realdrum selection when trying to do so in the Stylepicker window. I can check the override box and select a RD from the popup list, but when you click OK on the Stylepicker window, the style for the song still is yellow (MIDI drums) instead of turning green (RD). When the song is played, the MIDI drums are being played, not the RD that was selected in the Stylepicker window using the override function.
I can only substitute a RD for MIDI drums by using the RealDrum Picker window. The Stylepicker RD override function DID work for me with Build 314. I have not changed any of the preference settings for Realdrums on my PC.
Can anyone confirm that this is a problem, rather that some setting in the program?

Be sure to ALSO do the Real Track updates as well. They are a separate install.

I didn't spot the May 3 RealTracks update over on the support page! Usually Andrew posts a sticky-note at the top of this forum. Guess he forgot.
I'll load these latest RealTrack updates, but I doubt they'll have any effect on the problem with the RealDrums override function not working on the StylePicker window. I can substitute RealDrums for MIDI drums within a style if I use the RealDrum Picker window. The RealDrum substitution function in the StylePicker window stopped working in Build 317, which was released a few weeks ago. This override function did work perfectly OK in Build 314 (didn't bother with any Builds in between). Probably some software code glitch that was introduced in Build 317 that has to be corrected.

When a new style is loaded, the program wipes out any song specific Real Drums and Real Tracks. This is new behaviour and was requested by users. So it makes that particular function in the stylepicker useless, since there will be a style loaded, which will kill the RealDrums selected.
I'd recommend to load a RealDrums using the RealDrums picker, not from that StylePicker dialog, and that will solve the problem.
For the next version, I'll add an undo so that the RD/RT that have been wiped out when a new style loads can be restored. And also will add an exception so that the RD will stick if added in the stylepicker dialog.
