Hello All,
I have another medley finished in BB that starts out in a Celtic midi style and changes to a tango midi style, with the appropriate Realdrums. The song plays perfectly switching back and forth between the drums.
When I open the mgu in RB, the Celtic drums play throughout. Unless I'm mistaken, shouldn't RB recognize the drum changes made in the F5 screen?

I've always had to generate a change in RDs on another track. You can save the RD part from BIAB by right clicking the Drum part and saving as a WAV. The import the drum track into RB.

I forgot about saving the drum as a WAV. Much appreciated.
After the initial problem with the RDs, I opened the MGU in RB sans drums and I was able to generate Celtic and Tango RDs on the same track. Last week in RB, I generated Tango and Jazz shuffle RDs on the same track, but I was having problems before the latest update.
BB and RB should be more seamless; sometimes even midi events don't stick. Beats me.

OK You are correct. An easy workaround though is to open the song in RB then Drag&Drop just the RD part on top of the RD part that's already in RB.

They never have for me when you simply open the BAIB file in RB  . You have to do like suggested move individual tracks over via cut and past.

Thanks for the workaround.
However, here's what I'm still not grasping--
If I do what Rachael suggested: right-click drum part and save as WAV and then import the WAV file in RB, the WAV indeed plays the Celtic drums and then the Tango beat just like in BB as per the F5 screen. Why should opening the MGU file in RB not yield the same results? I'm still mystified.

I'm not at my music computer but I think the question is does RB have the F5 function? If it doesn't then there's your answer. RB is a sequencer/DAW first with some added Biab functions. It's not Biab and it does not duplicate everything Biab can do. What would be the point of that? If this functionality is in the RB help file then you may have indeed found a bug. If not, not.

The F5 function is a BiaB feature, not an RB feature. As noted above; they are not exactly the same, but you can usually get done what you need to get done one way or the other.
You also can't open an RB seq file in BiaB. It's just the way they work. RB is actually Powertracks DAW software with some BiaB features added in. It is a very powerful and cool thing to have available. Maybe in a future version RB will import this info, but not currently.
I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome
