Hi again, I'm really stumped with this problem! It's not really a BIAB problem as the instrument plays correctly there. I know quite a few guys work with Sonar...(I have the "Gas Version!". ....But I was Dragging & Dropping a dozen tunes from BIAB11 into Sonar. Most were a mixture of Midi & Real Tracks. Until I copied one with C-Hag country style....all was well...but when I checked in Sonar...the MIDI BASS was playing a piano patch instead of Picked Electric Bass! Checked (the "few" things I know!) .....Sample rate...Buffers..... driver ......mode....WDM/KS. All OK....
But when I checked the midi track in Sonar......the patch was set for Acoustic Piano.....changed to Pick Bass. seemed successful...'soloed' the track....OK. So saved as.The next song has the same C-Hag style.
Same problem! Midi Patch says Pick Bass....but plays as piano.I hope some of you guys can help.....bear in mind my "very limited" knowledge! Joe G.
