John-Luke:
Robert is right... I listened, and the one in Bank 10 has very different FX on it, but both have the same name. The guys that invent these patch banks at the factory have never been completely consistent (or reliable). We often have to tweak these things.
If you go into the Realband directory, and load the patches.ini file into Notepad or other text editor, you can just scroll down to Bank 10, number 75, and change "Lip Flute" to "Lip Flute - 2". Then re-open RB, which will convert the patches.ini file to "patches.bin", and voila (as they say in your neck of the bois) your patch is re-named. I just did it, it works. (Don't forget to save your original "patches.ini" file under some other name, like "patches.old" in case something goes wrong.)
Bonne Chance!

Just got my Ketron SD2 device some days ago, and it seems that the patches 041(violin) thru 044 (contrabass), bank A, are the same voices. As far I understand, if we want the violin sound, we need to start from G2 note and above, for viola use C2 note and above, for cello use C1 note and above and for contrabrass use C0 note and above. Does anybody use these patches and did somebody notice that ?

Hi John-Luke,
I have used the Ketron SD2 for a couple of years and I can assure you that the patches to which you refer are correctly identified. I would suggest that you have a Violin patch in the event list for the track you are testing which overrides any settings you make in the Tracks Windows.
Sometimes when PGMusic update RealBand or PTW the default Patches.ini is included which overwrites your personal file. I would also suggest keeping a copy of your personal Patches.ini in a safe place.

LynB, In fact I test the SD2 module from my master keyboard connected directly to the MIDI IN of the SD2.
