Bob - there's no way I'm going to convince you, is there?   That would be a good work around - guess that's why they pay you the big bucks! Consider: Once you get the RT Select window open - it would be more convenient not having to go back to your song every time you generate a track. Maybe a "track select" as in the Harmonizer, to allow you to work with more than one RT selection at a time without having to go back and forth to your song. Just thinking - not sure how difficult it is to program. Ian
