had my 2011 BIAB for a coupla days.....is there a site or post for BIAB "dummies" that would get me up and running.i am aware that the best way to learn is to DIY but you need to read at least 20 pages of manuals for ONE functional move OT. my youtube is not workin' so well at the mo since i got me a new PC (windows 7)....."YOUTUBE not responding" is the message.......any ideas i think my main use for BIAB will be to set up backing tracks for me to solo over on the guitar.it looks as though this software could be a GREAT learing tool  thanks for the welcome guys

Start on this page http://www.pgmusic.com/howtos.htm there are a ton of tutorials to read, and in the tool bar a link to videos here on the site.

If you are getting TO youtube, it isn't your side, it's theirs. If you are NOT getting to youtube, it's your side. Apparently your internet is working if you are here, so that's not the issue. Can you go to youtube by typing in www.youtube.com rather than clicking a link? That will be your answer as to which side is the issue.

Can you go to youtube by typing in www.youtube.com rather than clicking a link? That will be your answer as to which side is the issue.
did what you suggested ....got through and it froze on me

Ugh.... after that post I tested and I played a few videos and it was fine. Does it happen on ANY other web page? Do you get an error or just freeze? Visit www.adobe.com and update the flash player. Visit www.java.com and update the Java version. Then try it again. Also download a second browser, like Mozilla Firefox (www.mozilla.com) or Google Chrome (www.google.com) and see if the issue is with Internet Explorer. There may be an issue with MSIE depending on how new it is. I never moved off MSIE 7. They can keep 8 and 9 until I see there are no bugs. In fact I don't use Microsoft's browser at all. Firefox all the way.

Well this part is very easy . . .
#1. Open the program
#2. Choose the style & instrumentation
#3. Plug in your chord changes
#4. Set a tempo & hit play
#5. Grab your axe and solo your @$$ off my friend!
And yes you are correct regarding a great learning tool as there is no doubt that the use of BIAB has made me a better musician and singer.
