hi
i have just got a new usb presonus interface connect it up loaded the drivers and nothing not a squeak is it the computer or the interface

You've been around long enough to know that your question is impossible to answer. We need a WHOLE lot more info. My guess though is OE.

Hi
laptop running Vista OS BIAB 2011 with all the lastest updates 4gb memory,new audio and midi usb interface predonus audiobox using a WX5 midi controller, last est drivers for the interface,using head phones to listen,when i play a biab tune there is no music output and no midi input when i try to record some notes i know the WX5 is working ok as i had that working on my desktop computer i can`t think of anything else that is revalent can you thanks for your time and intrest,i thought i would just connect change the input and output driver in BIAB and that would be that and away i would go is`t that the case i can`t think of what i shoud have done

Without any additional info this is hard to answer, but sometimes you have to load the drivers first then plug in the unit.
I hope this helps.
PS - also be sure to turn off anything runing in the background as they can mess things up.

Always turm on the USB device before opening BiaB.
Next, What kind of BiaB midi or RTs or both?
If audio check the audio drives for the presonus, if midi check the midi drivers. make sure that if you are using Presonus midi output that that is changed to a synth output and then to audio output for the presonus. Midi input can be the Yamaha instrument.

Does the wx5 show as an input midi device?
Does the presonus show as an audio output device?
Have you got a DXi/VSTi selected?
Does the presonus at least play a BIAB tune?

i believe there was a problem with the drivers as idownloaded them from the audiobox site and it seems to have made a differance so today i will test everything out a quick listen last night and i am impressed by the sound thanks for all the help
