how about each of us composing a little biab/realband tune dedicated to howard. it would beat any 'get well' card hands down.
just post it this thread along with a link to your song. it will give howard a little something to look forward to each day.
comments and suggestions welcome.

This is not BIAB or RB (see how well I follow directions!), but I wrote it after my surgery and radiation etc... when I finally had recovered from throat cancer, and had no idea what singing again would be like.

howard,
i want to dedicate 'a summer breeze' to you. it is a realband tune and its pretty light and airy. its the first tune on my site. my son, gordon, dedicates 'the dance' to you and your wife. i think its number 4.
love is a verb, howard. you are more than welcome.

That's most odd Don, it works fine when I click it from here, I'll see if I can somehow change it.
Cheers,
Dave.

It's missing the ending quotation mark at the end of the second to last link.. see below

<font size="+2"><a href="http://www.davemiller.uk.com">www.davemiller.uk.com
</a>

should be-
"><font size="+2"><a href="http://www.davemiller.uk.com">www.davemiller.uk.com"
</a>

I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome

I really wanted to do a song for Howard, but I can’t sing much, and my writing ability is just about zero. However. I did write a song a little while ago called “Sea Change” which is a term we use when people move from the city to the beach (as opposed to “Tree Change” which refers to people who move from the city to the bush). I'd like to dedicate this song to Howard.

I hope you enjoy the song, and I hope Howard enjoys it too.

Keith... How can you say your "writing ability is just about zero" and then post such a pleasent melody?
I would hardly call that zero....far from it!

I'm sure Howard will find it uplifting,
Dave.
