You may want to contact microsoft to see if you/they can determine why WMM crashes all the time. I agree with the others that WMM is probably the easiest way to get started.

Even if you don't want to use WMM, anything you learn about why it crashes will probably help you use other video programs more efectively.





You may be correct but I don't think so.
It's a very old version and I have read about many people having problems with it.

I just downloaded and tried Camtasia and it works without a hitch on my same system. So......
