Hallo zusammen, nachdem ich Stunden verbracht habe, folgende Fragen mit Handbuch, im Forum, bei PG auf der HP abzuklären ist es vielleicht leichter, hier eine Antwort zu finden. Falls die Antwort leicht an anderer Stelle gegeben ist, seht es mir bitte nach, ich bin noch nicht so vertraut mit BIAB. Ich benutze die Version 2010 Evrything Pac für Mac. Dazu meine Fragen: 1.) Was bedeutet es, wenn die Taktnummern grün oder blau unterlegt sind? 2.) In der Notendarstellung sehe ich immer nur eine Zeile mit ca 4 Takten. Ich kenne es von einer älteren Windwos-Version, dass ich die ganze Seite quasi wie ein Lead-Sheet sehen kann. Ist das irgendwo einstellbar? 3.) Bei der Noteneingabe erhalte ich als erstes eine Ganze Note, die über den Takt mit einer 3/4 Note gebunden ist. Wie bekomme ich zB eine Viertel-Note eingegeben. 4.) Wie bekomme ich es hin, dass zB der Grundton auf 1 eingegeben ist und einen Takt lang vier Schläge gehalten wird, auf Zähler 2 die Terz für drei Schläge hinzukommt und auf Zähler 3 die Quint für 2 Schläge, also von der Notendauern eine differenziertere Darstellung 5.) Gibt es für 2010 Mac eine deutsche Version? 6.) Wo finde ich hier die Wiederholungs und Coda Funktionen? Die in den Tutorial Videos von simplysax (herzlichen Dank für die Videosan dieser Stelle) und die Antowrten von der PG Homepage kann ich nicht nachvollziehen, weil ich einfach die Funktionen "Wiederholung und Endungen" bzw. die englischen Entsprechungen weder mit Mausklick in das Akkordenster noch in dem Menuepunkt Bearbeiten finden kann. Jörg, die Einführungsvideos auf der PG Music Webseite sind hilfreich und das Handbuch beantwortet diese Fragen durchaus. Nun zur Starthilfe: 1) Grün bzw. blau unterlegte Taktnummern kennzeichnen sogenannte 'Part Marker' (das 'Denglisch' bitte ich an dieser Stelle zu verzeihen). Diese Marker bewirken über eine optische Markierung in der Regel einen kurzen 'Drum Fill' – haben also auch akustische Auswirkung. Insbesondere ist ein Wechsel von blau zu grün bzw. von grün zu blau auch mit etwas unterschiedlichen Spielcharakteristiken verbunden. Bei einem Jazz Style spielt etwa der Bass ab einem grünen Part Marker typischerweise Walking Bass Linien. 2) Persönlich kenne ich lediglich die Windows Version. Aus Schilderungen im Hauptforum wird jedoch deutlich, dass die Mac Version viele Jahre der Windows Version hinterher hinkt. Ein 'LeadSheet Window' gibt es daher bei der Mac Version zurzeit nicht. 3) Die Noteneingabe in Band-in-a-Box ist genial einfach und wesentlich flüssiger als etwa bei Finale oder Sibelius. Einfach das entsprechende Kapitel im Handbuch oder im Help File nochmal lesen. 4) Die Eingabe differenzierter Notenlängen ist akustisch möglich über den sogenannten PianoRoll Mode des editierbaren Notationsfensters -> einfach die 'Längenlinien' der Noten via Rechtsklick greifen und auf die gewünschte Notenlänge ziehen. PG Music unterstützt zurzeit leider keine optische Darstellung differenzierter Notenlängen im Standard-Notationsfenster - auch in der Windows Version nicht. 5) Eine deutsche Sprachversion für Band-in-a-Box 2011 Mac ist verfügbar. Möglicherweise funktioniert sie auch mit Version 10 -> einfach ausprobieren. 6) Wiederholungen und Codas werden wohl auch nicht unterstützt. PG Music wurde wiederholt gebeten, eine vollständige Feature Liste für die jeweiligen Versionen zur Verfügung zu stellen. Bis heute hat die Firma nicht darauf reagiert. Viele potenzielle Kunden stehen daher fälschlicherweise unter dem Eindruck, eine Mac Version verfüge eben über die gleichen Eigenschaften wie eine Windows Version gleicher Versionsnummer. In Deutschland wäre solch ein Firmenverhalten ein Fall für den Verbraucherschutz ... Willkommen im Forum

Deine Antworten haben mir sehr geholfen. Dazu weiß ich jetzt, was ich nicht mehr im Handbuch suchen muss, da ich es versionsbdingt nicht finden kann.

Hallo Jörg,
ich bin völlig begeistert von der Fortbildung auf "Burg Fürsteneck". Da lernst du alles was du für den Start brauchst. Kann ich nur empfehlen.
Ob die für Mac-Version auch fit sind, würde ich fragen.

leider hat Burg Fürsteneck im Moment kein Seminar zu BIAB im Programm. Ich werde es aber im Auge halten.
