OP Heinz40 Enthusiast Joined: Jul 2011 Posts: 35 Nähe Bodensee	Hallo zusammen, ich bin neu hier und von der musikalischen Seite her sowas wie ein „Lagerfeuergitarrist“ älteren Jahrgangs. Bei einem Bekannten hab ich Biab-Begleitungen gehört und durch dessen Vermittlung war es auch möglich, zwei Stunden an einem PC mit diesem Programm zu verbringen (ältere Version). Könnte mir vorstellen, auch damit arbeiten zu wollen (Win-PC). Doch mehr wie damit die Begleitungen für gut eine Handvoll Lieder zu erstellen, wäre nicht vorgesehen. Verständlich, dass in diesem Verwendungsrahmen der Kaufpreis für die Pro-Version schon recht "ordentlich" ist. Darum vorneweg ein paar Fragen, die sich für mich aus den vorhandenen Infos nicht beantworten lassen. a) Wenn ich die 32bit-Version kaufe und irgendwann den Rechner auf 64bit aufrüste, muss dann eine neue Version von Biab gekauft werden, oder ist das Update „nur“ eine Formsache und mit einem einfachen Download zu erledigen? b) Gibt’s irgendwo eine aktuelle Demoversion von Biab zum Download? c) Sollten die mit der Pro-Version ausgelieferten Stile zu wenig passend für mich sein, kann man diverse Stile nachkaufen, ohne auf die MegaPack-Version aufzurüsten zu müssen? ralfboe Journeyman Joined: Sep 2005 Posts: 487 Berlin, Germany	Hallo Heinz, als Begleitband fürs Üben und Spielen zu Hause ist BIAB ideal. Dafür wurde es mal erfunden. Gerade ist die neue Version 2011.5 erschienen. Schau mal auf die Hauptseite von PGMusic. Meist zieht der deutsche Vertrieb (m3c.de)etwas später nach. Beim Direktkauf bei PGM kannst Du wegen des günstigen Dollarkurses etwas sparen - wenn Du Download nimmst auch noch Porto und Zoll. Deutsche Sprachdatei gibt's zum Download. Zu Deinen Fragen: a) BIAB ist eine 32-bit-Software und läuft als solche sowohl auf 32- und 64-bit Rechnern problemlos. Ich hatte es auf 32-bit Win7 und arbeite jetzt damit seit 1 Jahr auf 64-bit Win7) b) Nein, es gib bei PGM aber die 30-Tage-Geld-zurück-Garantie. Wenn Dir's nicht gefällt gibt es den Kaufpreis zurück. Klappt problemlos. c) Ja, man kann alle einzeln kaufen oder auch Sets. Das ist aber wie mit Autoextras - als Ausstattungsvariante im Paket ist alles viel günstiger. Hängt aber auch davon am, welche Musikstile du willst. Hier sind alle im Überblick: http://www.pgmusic.com/bbwin.realtracks.all.htm Ein Tipp wäre, wenn Geld eine Rolle spielt, erstmal die kleine Pro-Version zu kaufen und dann um Weihnachten per Cross-Update aufzusteigen. Dann gibt es bei PGM nämlich immer die Nachfolgeversion (wäre dann BIAB 2012) zum günstigeren Weihnachts-Updatepreis. Bis dahin kannst Du Dich mit Hilfe der Pro-Version einarbeiten. Gruß Ralf

Frieder Enthusiast F Joined: Dec 2009 Posts: 34	Hallo Heinz, da ich so gute Erfahrung gemacht habe, werde ich nicht müde, zu erwähnen, dass man das Wochenendseminar auf "Burg Fürtseneck" als Anfänger machen sollte. Man bekommt eine Supereinführung und alle Produkte sind für Teilnehmer extrem günstig, so dass man eigentlich das Seminar fast umsonst bekommt. Atmophäre, Dozenten, Essen und nette Leute... alles stimmt! Du siehst ich bin begeistert!!! Die Akademie bietet allerdings das Seminar zu BiaB in der Regel nur einmal jährlich an. Ruf an und frag nach! Wer Biab hat spielt nie allein! Gruß Frieder

Zur Downloadversion: Ist halt kein Handbuch dabei, doch "ein Paar" Euros wären damit doch einzusparen. Muss mir das noch überlegen. Bekomme nächste Woche ein schnelleres Internet und werde mich bis dahin entschieden haben. Der Tipp mit der Schulung auf Burg Fürsteneck wäre nicht schlecht, wenn mein Vorhaben mit Biab etwas ernsthafter und umfangreicher wäre. Darum auch meine Vorbehalte wegen des Preises. Der finanzielle Auwand und Nutzen sollten in einem "erträglichen" Verhältnis stehen. Werde demnach zuerst mit der Pro-Version probieren und wenn dessen Möglichkeiten nicht ausreichend sein sollten, das "Weihnachtsupdate" im Auge behalten. Vielleicht noch eine Frage zur Entscheidunghilfe: Ist die digitale Doku bzw. Hilfe ausreichend oder wäre es ratsam, auch das gedruckte Handbuch zur Verfügung zu haben? Die Hilfe ist auch recht gut, wenn weder Hilfe noch digitales Handbuch weiter Helfen, Hilft auch kein reales Handbuch! Dafür gibt es dann dieses Forum, wo immer jemand da ist, der Hilfe bieten kann, kommt halt immer darauf an welches Problem wie dargestellt wird. Aber auch beim stöbern in dem Forum kann man meist auch Lösungsansätze finden, denn nicht jeder hat den gleichen Rechner und meist hat man auch verschiedene Instrumente und und und.... Bezüglich des Handbuches, nun die Frage bist Du eher der, der gerner ein physikalisches Buch in den Händen hat um zu leesen oder zu Stöbern, oder eher der digitale Leeser, welcher nicht mit Papier umgehen wollte? Du siehst alles eine Frage des Geschmackes, ob Musik Bild oder Buch alles nur eine Frage des Seins! LG Matze P.S.: Nun denn ich würde mal sagen, wenn Du nur eine Band in der Box haben möchtest, welche nicht Meckert sowie immer im Timing und nie zu Laut oder Leise ist, Du persönlich keine höhere Ansprüche hast, aber noch immer Lust am musizierenden erlernen dieser wunderschönen Gemeinschaft, dann GREIF ZU!!!!!

Ein "physikalisches Handbuch" finde ich vor allem deswegen sehr nützlich, weil man sich damit bequem auf die Coch pflanzen kann, um in Ruhe nachzulesen, was "mit dem Programm noch alles gemacht werden kann". Darüber hinaus bin ich von Anbeginn meiner "PC-Karriere" (1992) gewohnt, den "einen Satz" den ich brauchen würde um weiter zu kommen, ewig lange suchen zu müssen. Das wird auch bei Biab nicht anders sein... ;-) Darum werde ich deinen Hinweis auf das Forum zu nutzen wissen. Grüße, Heinz PS: wie kommt man auf kürzestem Wege vom Login ins deutssprachige Forum? Block erstes Forum "Deutsches Band in a Box user forum", da dann Anklicken und nun hastr Du es! Kann man auch anderst machen in dem man via Browser ein Tab dann öffnet in dem dies Deutsche Forum dann immer on ist, ein Anderen dann mit Deinem Profil und somit immer via Profil an - oder ab - melden, nun hast Du immer das Forum in Deutsch da! Bezüglich des Handbuches, kannst es ja ausdrucken und dann die Flugblätter ca. 320 Seiten wenn Duolex an Deinem PC nur 160 Seiten dann mit Hilfe von einem Spiralbinder dann Binden, hat wiederum den Vorteil das dann ein DINA 4 Handbuch vorhanden ist, Orginal ists hal ein DINA 5! Wenn dann in 1,5 Jahren ein upgreate dann auf BiaB 2013 Mega oder EverythingPAK dann holst, hast Du dann das neuste Handbuch und auch alles Aktuell! Ich würde es dann so machen wie beschrieben!
