I know what CD-Text is; which is why I, and rharv earlier in the thread, pointed it out. The Wikipedia page does a good job explaining it and other CD formats.

Just trying to make sure that the readers of this forum understand that tagging .wav files to be burned onto a typical audio-format CD is a waste of time in general.

Now, that's not true for files in your computer's library, or if you have the means to upload to CDDB.

It's questionable whether most user's CD Burning software has the ability to write the CD-Text. Most of the entry-level burning programs do not support writing CD-Text.

That's also not going to be the way that a disc publishing company encodes the data - which gets back to Kirsten's original question.
