I've never used that function before but I just tried it and nothing happened. I see that the file I was testing says channel 0 on track 1. I was going to dig up your email address and send it to you but I just now found another site with another type 0 on it. If someone wants to test this go here Sinatra download Mack the Knife and see if it extracts for you. It's a crappy midi but that's ok it's just a test. Cover your ears  I know squat about type 0 files but I see this one says channel 0 as well. Thanks, Bob
